At Atlantis Waste, we are proud to offer a range of residential skip hire options for all of our customers. There is no job too big or too small for us to handle.
Skip hire is an essential and sometimes stressful part of any home project. Our goal is to take all the stress out of the process by offering a local skip hire service from over 1000 depots across the UK for any type of project.
Choosing the correct Skip:
It is very important to choose the correct skip for your needs and our Skip Size Guide can help. If you are inexperienced when it comes to hiring skips we always recommend choosing the next size up to what you require. The main reason for this is you often find more waste than you expect and overloading skips is a growing issue. Skips are only to be level filled by law as it is a hazard to transport overloaded skips on the highway and we are liable to fines if we do. In this instance a wasted journey can be charged. The second reason is cost and it is much cheaper to get one size larger than order a second skip for any remaining waste.
• 2 Yard Mini Skip for small DIY projects
• 4 Yard Midi Skip for small house spring clean
• 6 Yard Builders Skip for small bathroom refits
• 8 Yard Builders Skip for landscaping and garden waste
• 10 and 12 Yard Maxi Skip for house clearances and furniture removal
We always encourage our customers to segregate waste where possible as this not only helps the environment, it can in most cases offer cost savings on larger jobs.
We always keep up to date with the latest legislations and below is a list of hazardous waste classified items that cannot be disposed of in a general waste skip. We do have alternative options available should you need to dispose of any items in this list so please ask when speaking to one of our waste management specialists.
• Fridges, Freezers and Air-conditioning units
• Electrical Appliances
• Fluorescent light tubes
• Paints (including residues inside paint cans)
• Aerosols and Gas Canisters
• Oil, Fuel and other Automotive Fluids
Whatever the size, or requirements, Atlantis Waste is a name that you can trust.
When placing a skip on the road or any public land every customer needs to have a pre-applied Highway Permit from the local Council Authority.
Atlantis Waste is able to obtain this on your behalf and these needs to be granted before we can deliver any skip onto public land. Contact us and speak to one of or friendly members of staff for more information and advice on permits.
Atlantis Waste is proud to offer an excellent range of skips for any job, large or small. Please feel free to contact us today for help and advice.
